I really enjoyed this book, the third in the Charlie Robertson series. Many years ago, I bought the first two of what turned out to be a series of books. I wanted something for my niece and read them first to make sure they were suitable. They were a great read and I could tell that they would make great films too. As a result, my niece was the first in her class to read the Harry Potter books. These books are, obviously very different (and not at all suitable for an 8-year-old girl!). However, I have the same feeling about them and how they would make great films… Hold on tight for a great read and a great ride!”

I have read all three books in the trilogy and also in the correct sequence and found them to be very well researched and written. I've enjoyed the storyline of each and learnt much along the journey. The books have something for everyone—history, intrigue, crime, love, lust, suspense, geography, geology and more. I never realised that there is so much to know on the subject of diamonds, particularly the very rare pink diamonds only to be found in outback Western Australia. Each Chapter of all three books provide some fact about the different types of diamond and/or their 'cut', with Chapters being relatively brief allowing the reader that may be time poor to put the book down and easily pick up the storyline on the next reading occasion. I would thoroughly recommend these books to all, beginning with Rough Cut."
